Riverton Parke Invite:

Boy's-Ben Payton at 4th overall with a 17:57, Logan Pietrzak 10th overall at 18:18, Caleb Phillips 16th overall at 19:02.

We were happy with the individual performances on our girls team.  We felt that winning the meet was a possibility if we were at full strength, but we had two runners out for that Saturday.  Bailey Hoffa finished first among all conference runners at the meet for the first time. The boys were led by Ben Payton who received a medal for his 4th place finish. Freshman Logan Pietrzak backed up his strong performance at the Grand Prix with another impressive time on a difficult course.

Ben Payton ran at the State Preview Meet in Terre Haute to prepare for his goal of reaching the state meet.  He was narrowly beaten by WRC rival Conner Million and ran a time of 17:13.  Both the boys and girls teams had strong performances on our regional course.  We look forward to doing some real damage when we return there following our sectional.
